Wacker Commits to OSU
Former Fieldhouse Pirate Travis Wacker has committed to play for the Oklahoma State Cowboys next season. Travis was a member of the Pirate program for 4 seasons before graduating and attending Grayson College in Texas. While playing for Grayson under coach Dusty Hart, Travis has been a two year starter behind the plate and in the outfield. This season Travis is hitting .379 with 9 home runs and 62 RBI placing himself amongst the NJCAA leaders in those categories. The Oklahoma State program is one of the most prestigious programs in the NCAA, with 19 appearances in the college world series and 31 conference championships. The Cowboys play in the Big 12 and routinely play one of the most competitive schedules in division one baseball.
Travis joined the Fieldhouse program as a 15 year old coming from his local OBA association and immediately began to take advantage of the new tools at his disposal. Having access to top quality coaching and a facility he could work out at all the time. Travis came in daily feeding his obsession of taking his game to the next level. Travis was a part of our inaugural graduating class and a member of a special team during his Fieldhouse career. Travis will finish out the season with his Grayson teammates as they challenge for the NJCAA World Series before heading to Stillwater in August to begin his career as an Oklahoma State Cowboy.
